Rodelio "Waway" Linsahay Saway (b. Jan. 8, 1969)

Datu of the Talaandig Tribe of Songco, Lantapan, Bukidnon. He is currently a Councilor for his town. Waway is an educator at the Talaandig School of Living Traditions. He is a farmer, artist (visual/ music) and a community organizer.

He is credited as the father of SOIL ART in the Philippines. Painting from the pigments of the earth has been intriduced, improved, polished and promoted locally and internationally.

Waway incorporated clay in his canvas. Each clay has been shaped and etched. And his soil pigments has been polished and embellished with gold - an element that also comes from the earth.
